Gregory Blann

Gregory Blann is an author, artist and musician who lives in Nashville, TN. and teaches international folk dance locally. He has published four books on spirituality which focus on the history of Sufism and several contemporary teachers of that tradition with whom he studied. He is a sheikh in the Halveti-Jerrahi Order and a long-standing member of the Inayati Order, having studied under Pir Vilayat Khan, Lex Hixon, Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, Safer Dal Eendi and others. This website offers a book page, as well as Sufi music and dhikr, spiritual talks by the author and recordings featuring several of his teachers (in audio and video formats)--on the Media Page. The Art page features a number of his original works of art.
